Nickel Alloy Tubes for Demanding Heat Exchanger Service
Nickel alloys are selected for heat exchanger applications where operating conditions require greater corrosion resistance, temperature capability or material performance than conventional stainless steels can provide.
The nickel-alloy family covers materials designed for very different service conditions—from nickel-copper Alloy 400 and heat-resistant Alloy 600/800 families to highly corrosion-resistant Alloy 625, 825, C22 and C276. Material selection should therefore follow the actual process chemistry, temperature, pressure and project specification rather than treating “nickel alloy” as one interchangeable material group.
DLSS supports nickel alloy heat exchanger tube projects from material and standard review through tube supply, U-bending, heat treatment, inspection, documentation and delivery.
